Why we ride.

The Albany Ride for Missing Children is committed to raising awareness of missing and exploited children and promoting child safety through education, advocacy, and community partnerships across the Capital Region to help create safer environments for every child.

About our colors

Teal & Pink is in honor Sara Anne Wood, who was wearing these colors when she was abducted on her bicycle in 1993

The color white symbolizes all missing children, a reminder of every child that is still waiting to be found

The color purple honors law enforcement personnel who tirelessly search for and protect missing children
